Beef Spread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 2 tbsp. cream, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1/4 tsp. garlic salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream the cheese and milk together.
Add sour cream and beat. Shred dried beef.
Crisp 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans in 1 tablespoon butter.
Stir 1 cup into mixture.
Place all ingredients in small casserole.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup nuts on top.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes in 350Β° oven.
Serve piping hot on crackers.
