Beef Oven Rice
Beef Oven Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. flour, 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, 1 envelope onion soup mix, 1/2 c. water and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Shake flour in a 14 x 20-inch oven bag. Place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Add undrained tomatoes, soup mix, water and pepper to bag.
Squeeze bag to blend ingredients. Add beef strips to bag.
Turn bag to coat beef with sauce. Arrange ingredients in an even layer.
Close and tie bag.
Cut 6 slits in top; bake until beef is tender, 40 to 45 minutes.
Serve over hot rice.
Makes 4 servings.
