Beef Oriental
Beef Oriental is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. beef, cut in 1/4-inch strips, 1/4 c. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 thin sliced pepper and 2 tbsp. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Heat oil and add beef and cook quickly until browned.
Combine soy sauce, water and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Pour over beef. Bring to a boil and add sliced onions and pepper.
Cook on high for 4 minutes.
To thicken, add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, blended with 2 tablespoons of cold water.
Add to mixture and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
Good over rice!
