Beef Marsala
Beef Marsala is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. stewing beef, 1 to 2 tbsp. oil, 2 medium-large onions, chopped, 3 cloves garlic, minced and 1/2 c. white cooking wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Saute onions and garlic in oil in a large stew pot until slightly brown.
Add remaining ingredients, beginning with liquids.
Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
If needed, add more liquid.
Thicken at end of cooking time, if necessary, or desired, with cornstarch and a small amount of the hot liquid.
Serve over cooked rice.
