Beef Jerky
Beef Jerky is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. flank or round steak, cut 1/2-inch thick, 1 1/2 tbsp. salt, 1/2 c. warm water, 1/2 c. soy sauce and 1/2 c. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cut meat in 3/4-inch wide strips with grain.
Dissolve salt in warm water and add remaining ingredients.
Soak meat in mixture for about 2 hours, turning frequently so each piece is drenched. Place strips on paper towels for a few minutes.
Place on oven rack.
Cook at 120° to 130° for 8 to 9 hours with oven door slightly cracked open.
After cooking, turn off heat, open oven door and let air dry for 8 hours more.
Package in bags or jars.
