Beef Jerky
Beef Jerky is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. soy or teriyaki sauce, 1/4 c. molasses, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 tsp. onion salt and 1 tbsp. ground ginger, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Blend all ingredients, except beef.
Add beer and stir.
Cut steak across grain into 1/4-inch slices.
Put into a tight fitting container.
Pour marinade over meat.
Refrigerate overnight, turning once or twice.
Discard marinade and pat meat with paper towels to remove excess moisture; salt and pepper to taste.
Put on skewers, meat hanging down.
Dry in a smoker or in the oven on lowest setting with oven door cracked open so moisture can escape. Cook until desired dryness, not brittle.
