Beany Beefburgers
Beany Beefburgers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. catsup, 1 tsp. chili powder, 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion and 2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine ground beef, salt and pepper.
Shape into 6 patties, 1/2-inch thick.
Place in a small skillet and cook on both sides until done.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Combine catsup, chili powder, beans, onion and green pepper in a small saucepan. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat. Place a beef patty on bottom half of each hamburger bun.
Top each patty with 3 to 4 tablespoons hot bean sauce.
Cover with bun tops.
Makes 6 servings.
