Bean Soup
Bean Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. dry northern beans, 1 meaty ham hock, 2 to 3 medium potatoes, diced, 1/2 c. celery, diced and 1 clove minced garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Soak beans overnight.
Drain.
Add 2 quarts water to beans and hock.
Simmer 2 hours or until beans are tender.
Add all other ingredients.
Simmer another hour or two.
