👨🍳 Instructions
In a large mixer bowl combine 2 cups all-purpose flour and 1 package active dry yeast.
In a saucepan heat 1 1/4 cups of milk, 1/2 cup shortening, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon salt, just until warm (115° to 120°) and shortening is almost melted.
Stir constantly.
Add to flour mixture and add 1 egg.
