Batter Rolls
Batter Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. milk, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. margarine and 1/2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Scald milk.
Stir in sugar, salt and margarine.
Cool to lukewarm.
Measure warm water into large bowl.
Sprinkle in yeast. Stir until dissolved.
Add lukewarm mixture, egg and 2 cups flour.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
Cover and let rise until double, about 30 to 45 minutes.
Punch down and shape into 2 dozen rolls.
Place on greased sheet and cover to let rise until double.
Bake 15 minutes at 400Β°.
