Batter Rolls
Batter Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. milk, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 stick butter and 1/2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Scald milk.
Stir in sugar, salt and margarine.
Add cold to lukewarm.
Measure warm water into large bowl.
Add yeast and stir until dissolved.
Add lukewarm milk mixture, egg and 2 cups of flour; beat until smooth.
Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough.
Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, until doubled in bulk (about 15 to 20 minutes).
Punch down and shape into rolls.
