Basil Butter
Basil Butter is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. loosely packed basil leaves, 3/4 lb. butter, 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice and 1 1/2 tsp. white pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a food processor, chop the basil.
Add butter, lemon juice and pepper; blend until smooth.
Drop by half tablespoons onto a cookie sheet; freeze.
Remove from cookie sheet and store in freezer bags.
Use to flavor chicken, fish or vegetables.
Makes 4 dozen butter balls.
