Basic Sweet Dough is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 1 c. milk, 1/4 c. butter and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dissolve yeast in water.
Scald milk. Cool to lukewarm; add flour to make a thick batter.
Add yeast and eggs; beat well.
Add flour to make a soft dough; knead until satiny.
Place in greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk.
Shape into any kind of roll.
Let rise until light.
Bake at 350° to 375°.
