Basic Roll Dough Refrigerator Rolls
Basic Roll Dough Refrigerator Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 3 1/4 c. flour, 1 pkg. active dry yeast, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. sugar and 1 c. warm milk or warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In large bowl, combine 1 cup flour with dry yeast, salt and sugar.
Heat milk (or water) and margarine in saucepan until very warm (don't boil).
Add to flour mixture, along with egg.
With mixer, beat 2 minutes.
By hand, stir in remaining 2 to 2 1/4 cups flour to form stiff dough.
Cover and refrigerate up to 5 days. When ready to bake, remove from refrigerator.
Form into rolls. Let rise until double in size.
Bake at 400Β° for 15 to 20 minutes. May be used right away.
