Barbecue Beef
Barbecue Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 chuck steaks, 1 green pepper, cut up, 1 onion, chopped, 1/2 jar tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce and 1/2 to 3/4 c. ketchup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Bake beef in a 350Β° oven until very tender. Add 1/2 cup water to pan when first put in oven.
Flake meat when done.
In frypan, add onion and pepper. Saute until slightly done.
Add ketchup, sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and chili powder. Add the flaked meat and juices.
Simmer 40 minutes. Serve on a hamburger roll.
