Banana Split Snack Cake
Banana Split Snack Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 36 minutes. Made with c. margarine or butter, softened, c. sugar, eggs, c. buttermilk and c. (2 medium) bananas, mashed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Heat oven to 350°. Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream margarine, sugar and eggs.
Stir in buttermilk, bananas and vanilla, mixing well.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Stir in flour, oats, soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in chips.
Spread batter in prepared pan.
Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
