Banana Split Cake
Banana Split Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 or 5 bananas, sliced, 1 1/2 sticks oleo (room temperature), 1 (no. 2) can pineapple, drained, 2 c. graham cracker crumbs and 1 large container cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Melt 1 stick oleo and add to cracker crumbs.
Make crust by placing in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan or dish.
Mix 1/2 stick of oleo, cream cheese and powdered sugar; beat for 15 minutes with electric mixer.
Spread over crumbs.
Add the following in layers: bananas, cream cheese, pineapple, Cool Whip and cherries.
One cup nuts may be sprinkled on top, if desired.
Refrigerate or put in freezer 24 hours before serving.
It will last longer if, after serving, you put leftovers in freezer.
