Dissolve pudding in 3 cups of cold, sweet milk, beating with electric mixer on low speed or until pudding gets thick.

Add Cool Whip and sour cream; mix well.

Sprinkle crushed wafers in bottom of a container that holds 3 quarts or more.

Layer with 3 sliced bananas and pudding.

Repeat same procedure using the next 3 bananas.

Sprinkle wafers on top.

Cover well and refrigerate until next day.
