Banana Pie
Banana Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) baked and cooled pie crust, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 2/3 c. water, 1 c. eagle condensed milk and 3 egg yolks, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a saucepan, dissolve cornstarch in water.
Stir in condensed milk and egg yolks.
Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Add margarine and vanilla.
Cool slightly.
Slice and arrange two bananas on bottom of pie shell.
Pour filling over this.
Cover and chill 4 hours.
Spread top with whipped cream and slice remaining bananas and garnish top of pie.
