Banana Nut Bread
Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 1/4 c. sifted flour and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour 2 small loaf pans. Peel and cut bananas and beat with mixer.
Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat.
Alternately add the dry ingredients in thirds and the mashed bananas and buttermilk twice and beat.
Add nuts.
Pour into prepared pans and bake for about 45 minutes or until tests done.
