Cream shortening and sugar.
Add 1 egg at a time.
Mix well. Add flour and milk, a little at a time, until all is mixed well. Add bananas and nuts.
Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan at 300Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a tube pan.
