Cream together shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with banana.
Blend well. Stir in nuts.
Pour into well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes, or until done.
Remove from pan.
Cool on rack.
