Banana Bread
Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 2 eggs and 3 medium bananas (very ripe), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream shortening and gradually add sugar until all sugar is dissolved.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Mash bananas and add to the batter.
Sift dry ingredients together and fold in (do not beat).
Fold in finely chopped pecans.
Bake in greased loaf pan for 45 minutes at 350Β°.
