Baklava
Baklava is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. walnuts, 2 boxes phyllo, 1/2 lb. butter, melted, 2 tbsp. cinnamon and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Mix walnut pieces and cinnamon and grind. Butter a cake pan.
Place 1 sheet of phyllo in pan and butter.
Repeat for 10 sheets of phyllo.
Then sprinkle with walnut mixture, add a sheet of phyllo, butter, waluts, phyllo, butter, etc. until pan is almost full.
Cut almost through to bottom of pan in diagonal pattern; place in oven for about 1 hour, until top is browned.
