Baking Powder Biscuits

Sift flour.
Measure and sift with baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening.
Add milk to form a soft dough.
Knead lightly on floured board for a few seconds.
Roll out 1/4-inch thick. Fold over so dough is 1/2-inch thick.
Cut with a biscuit cutter. Place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake about 12 minutes at 450Β°.
