Baked Spaghetti
Baked Spaghetti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large onion, chopped fine, 1 clove garlic, minced, 4 tbsp. shortening, 1 lb. ground beef and 2 cans tomato soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook onion and garlic in shortening; add beef, stirring to keep meat separated.
Mix in the soup, water and chili powder. Cook a few minutes longer. Break spaghetti into 1-inch pieces. Heap into a greased 2-quart casserole.
Pour in the meat mixture and stir until blended.
Cover and bake 1 hour (without stirring) in a 350Β° oven. Remove cover and stir.
Top with cheese and cook 15 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
