Baked Pineapple Salad
Baked Pineapple Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in just 30 minutes. Made with (1 lb. 4 oz.) cans crushed pineapple, drained well, c. flour, scant c. sugar (if pineapple is in heavy syrup use 1/2 c. sugar), . salt and butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Place 1/2 of drained pineapple in buttered 10x6 pyrex dish. Mix flour, sugar, and salt, sprinkle half of this over pineapple. Dot with butter. Spread 1/2 of mixed cheese over this. Repeat in same order. Bake at 325°-350° for 30 minutes.
Remove and sprinkle with pecans. Bake 5 more minutes.
