Baked Pear Pudding
Baked Pear Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 pears, peeled, quartered and tossed with 2 tbsp. lemon juice, 2/3 c. sugar, 4 large eggs, 1/3 c. sugar and 2/3 c. heavy cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole, arrange the pears decoratively. In food processor, fitted with steel blade, blend the milk, cream, 2/3 cup sugar, flour, eggs and vanilla until batter just combined.
Pour the batter over the pears.
Sprinkle the top with the remaining 1/3 cup sugar and dot with butter. Bake in upper third of a preheated hot oven at 425Β° for 50 minutes or until top is golden and pudding is set.
Serve it warm or at room temperature with whipped cream.
