Baked Orzo
Baked Orzo is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 small or 3 large onions, sliced, 3 to 4 large green peppers, chopped, 2 to 3 packets george washington seasoning powder, 1 can french fried onion rings and 1 stick butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Saute onions and green peppers in the stick of butter.
Cook the orzo al dente.
Rinse orzo in cold water after cooking; place in casserole dish.
Sprinkle seasoning powder over sauteed onions and peppers; gently stir in all but a few of the onion rings.
Add this mixture to the orzo in the casserole dish; place remaining onion rings on top.
Bake at 350Β° until hot clear through.
May be frozen before baking.
