Together butter sugar.

Add eggs and beat well. Mix milk, baking soda and flour.

The dough should not be too sticky (as it will spread while baking).

Roll out and knead dough on well floured board.

Cut into pieces about the of walnuts.

Flatten dough and cover prepared "An" with it, pinching the dough together on the bottom to seal it so that

"An" will leak through.

Place on greased cookie sheets, coat tops with beaten eggs and sprinkle on sesame or poppy seed. Bake in 375Β° oven for 15 to 20 minutes. It will be lightly browned.
