Baked Liver
Baked Liver is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 containers beef liver, 4 stalks celery, chopped, 1 large onion, chopped, 4 tbsp. olive oil and 2 cans stewed tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown liver on both sides in olive oil using a skillet.
Saute chopped up celery and onions; set aside.
Use a Dutch oven and place liver pieces in bottom.
Pour in celery and onions.
Then top with stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Bake in oven at 375Β° for 1 hour.
Delicious served over white rice.
(Do not cook liver on top of stove until done.
Just brown it lightly on both sides. It cooks done in the oven.)
