Baked Chicken Casserole
Baked Chicken Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 11 slices bread, crusts removed, 4 c. diced, cooked chicken, 1 large can mushrooms, 1/4 c. margarine and 1 can water chestnuts, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Line 10 x 14-inch pan with the bread.
Layer the chicken over the bread and add a layer of the mushrooms and water chestnuts. Dot with the green pepper.
Spread the soup over the top of this. Add the pimento and lay the cheese over the top.
Beat the eggs, add the milk and salt and pour over all.
