Baked Cabbage
Baked Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head cabbage (about 2 1/2 lb.), 2 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. flour, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1/8 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Butter a 12 x 8-inch shallow baking dish. Discard outer leaves from cabbage.
Wash head and cut into 12 wedges.
Put 1 cup water in large skillet. Bring to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon salt and the cabbage. Cook over medium heat, covered, 10 minutes. Drain well.
Arrange cabbage in prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with mixture of flour, sugar, 1 teaspoon salt and the pepper.
Dot with butter.
Pour hot milk over cabbage. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake, uncovered, 35 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
