Baked Beans
Baked Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 tbsp. vinegar, 1 c. catsup, w. beans, cooked until almost done, adding only salt and pepper, 1/2 inch pieces bacon and 3 tbsp. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Put 1/2-inch pieces of bacon in bottom of baking dish, then layer of onion, then layer of beans.
Repeat until pan is full. Cover with mixture of vinegar, brown sugar and catsup.
Cover top with tomato juice and simmer or bake real slow for hour or so. Good hot or cold.
