Bagna Caulda
Bagna Caulda is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 6 tbsp. olive oil, 4 garlic cloves, minced and 2 (2 oz. each) cans flat anchovy fillets, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a small saucepan, heat butter, olive oil and garlic.
Keep warm over very low heat for 5 minutes.
Add anchovies.
Increase heat until mixture begins to simmer.
Do not boil.
Stir until anchovies have disintegrated.
Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream before serving.
Transfer to a small flameproof bowl.
Stir in parsley (optional).
Use any fresh vegetables for dipping.
