Bacon Chestnuts
Bacon Chestnuts is an easy dinner. Made with 2 cans water chestnuts (whole), 1 lb. bacon, cut in half, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 14 oz. bottle catsup plus 1/3 c., this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Make a day ahead to marinate.
Wrap each chestnut in 1/2 slice bacon; lay in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Drain fat.
Then mix and pour over the following: brown sugar, granulated sugar and catsup.
Refrigerate overnight and then bake again for 30 minutes or until bubbly at 350°.
