Bacon-Burger Turnovers
Bacon-Burger Turnovers is an impressive dinner. Made with 3/4 c. onion, 1 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 6 strips bacon and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute onion and butter.
In another pan, fry strips of bacon. Drain the grease and add the onion.
Next add the ground beef, salt and pepper.
Add the 2 tablespoons flour and cook over medium heat until brown.
Add soup; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add the sour cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
Cool the meat mixture.
Make a crust with the flour, shortening, salt and water.
Roll out and cut 5-inch circles and fill with rounded teaspoonful of meat on circle.
Fold over and brush with oleo.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 400Β° oven.
