Score roast; season with 1/2 teaspoon each of salt, pepper and garlic salt.
Sear roast in pan in oil on all sides until browned. Remove from pan and place in foil-lined roasting pan.
Pour Coca-Cola and catsup over roast.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 3 hours at 325Β°.
