Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix soda with milk.
Mix flour, cornmeal and salt.
Add flour and milk alternately to butter mixture.

For muffins, bake 17 to 18 minutes. Makes 30 muffins or 1 pan.
