Athean Shrimp
Athean Shrimp is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. fresh/frozen shrimp, 1/2 c. chopped onions, 3 tbsp. fresh parsley, 3 cloves garlic, minced and 1/4 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Thaw shrimp if frozen, peel and devein.
In a large saucepan, cook onion, parsley and garlic in 2 tablespoons of butter until onion is tender.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, oregano and pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Stir in water or Ouzo and fennel.
Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
