Soak apricots for 3 to 4 hours.
Add orange juice to sugar. Add apricots.
Simmer on low fire to well cooked.
Cool mixture. Put mixture in blender and purΓ©e.
Add whipping cream.
Arrange layers of apricot cream and ice cream.
Decorate with nuts.
