Apricot Bread
Apricot Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. dried apricots, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg and 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Place apricots in saucepan; cover with warm water and let stand 30 minutes.
Drain.
Cut into small pieces with scissors.
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs and beat well.
Stir in water, orange rind and juice.
Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture and stir until well blended.
Add apricots and nuts; mix well.
Pour into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Let stand for 20 minutes before baking at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
