Apricot Bread
Apricot Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. dried apricots, 1 egg, 1 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. melted butter and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Soak apricots
1/2 hour.
Drain and chop or cut up with scissors.
Beat egg until light; stir in sugar and mix well. Stir in butter. with rest of dry ingredients and add alternately with orange water.
Nuts and apricots and mix well.
Pour batter into well greased loaf pan ( 9 x 5-inches) and bake and 15 minutes in 350Β° oven. (Also makes 3 small loaves, baked about 1 hour.)
