Apricot Bars
Apricot Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. golden brown sugar, packed, 1 c. butter, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat brown sugar, butter, egg and vanilla until smooth.
Add in nuts and flour.
Pour half the batter in 9-inch square pan. Spread 1/2 the jam.
Pour in rest of batter.
Cover with remaining jam.
Bake at 325Β° about 45 to 50 minutes.
Let cool.
Cut into squares.
