Apricot Bars
Apricot Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. margarine (2 sticks), 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cream sugar and margarine.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Stir in flour.
Save 1/4 of the dough to dot the top.
Spread out remainder of dough in jelly roll pan, 10 1/2 x 15 1/2-inch.
Spread with Smucker's apricot preserves and sprinkle with chopped pecans, if desired.
With teaspoon, dot remaining dough on top.
Bake for 30 minutes.
When cool, cut into bars.
