Apricot Bars
Apricot Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. butter or oleo and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Sift first 3 ingredients into a bowl; set aside.
Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add nuts, coconut and flour mixture.
Mix until well blended.
Press 3/4 of the mixture in the bottom of a 10 x 15-inch baking pan.
Spread jam over mixture.
Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool and cut in bars.
