Applesauce Torte
Applesauce Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. (fluffo) shortening, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix brown sugar and Fluffo together first.
When well mixed, add remaining ingredients except applesauce and cinnamon.
Grease pan; line bottom of pan with 3/4 crumb mixture.
Spread applesauce evenly over top; add the sprinkles of cinnamon.
Add remaining crumb mixture on top.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour.
