Applesauce Loaf
Applesauce Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour and 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream butter and sugar until light.
Beat in egg.
Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Beat applesauce into batter. Stir in raisins and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool on wire rack.
