Applesauce Fruitcake
Applesauce Fruitcake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 3 c. flour, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1 tsp. cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter; add sugar gradually with spices, creaming until light.
Sift flour, soda and salt.
Dredge fruit and nuts in 1/2 cup of the flour.
Beat eggs until light.
Add butter mixture.
Mix flour mixture in; stir until well blended.
Put in fruit, nuts and applesauce.
Bake in a tube pan at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
