Mix dry ingredients together.
Add Crisco, eggs and applesauce.
Mix well and then stir in nuts, raisins, etc.
Bake in a greased and floured tube pan or similar size.
Bake for 1 hour and 25 to 35 minutes at 350Β° or in a loaf pan for 1 hour.
